Free Halloween Wallpapers, Backgrounds and Animated Banners

Every Halloween picture on SL-Designs is gathered here: desktop wallpapers, small tiling backgrounds for web pages and blogs, and animated banners for messages. All of it is original art by Stella Levi, and all of it is free to download for personal, non-commercial use.

Halloween desktop wallpapers

Three full-screen wallpapers at 1024 × 768 pixels. Open one, press Download, then set the file as your desktop background. On a wide screen, choose Fill so the picture covers the whole screen; the top and bottom edges are trimmed a little to fit.

Halloween backgrounds

These are tiles: 200 × 150 pixel pictures whose edges meet without a seam, so they repeat to fill a desktop, a web page or a blog background. The ghosts, the second set of bats and the eyes are animated GIFs that move on a web page. How to use a tiling background explains the settings.

Animated Halloween banners

Two animated banners for an e-mail, a message or a blog post. Save the picture to your computer and upload it where you want to use it, rather than linking to the file on this site.

More for the season

The Halloween collection keeps all of these on one page. Next on the calendar are Thanksgiving wallpapers and autumn leaves backgrounds, then Christmas and Hanukkah. Other Celebrations has the rest of the year's holidays.
